In this courtroom sketch, Russell Williams is shown making a court appearance via video link.
A former Canadian air force commander, who is charged with two counts of murder, could be a “serial killer”, says a law expert.

“This person was a serial killer and there is prima facie evidence that he may have committed serial murders at military bases located at other locations around the world,” Vancouver-based international lawyer Alfred Lambremont Webre told Press TV.

On Thursday, a court in Canada was shown chilling confessions of Colonel Russell Williams, charged with 88 criminal charges, including two murders.

“And why were not those serial murders also included in the charges here? Why did they cover up the murders that were committed on other bases in foreign countries?” Lambremont Webre said.

In the video footage played in an Ontario courtroom, Williams told police how he stalked women, broke into their homes before raping, and in two cases murdering, them.

He pleaded guilty on Monday to the rape and asphyxiation deaths of two women and is expected to be sentenced on Thursday.

The 47-year-old faces a life sentence with no possibility of parole for at least 25 years for the deaths of Jessica Lloyd, 27, and Cpl. Marie-France Comeau, 38.

He was arrested on February 8, a day after Lloyd’s body was found on a rural road near her hometown of Tweed in east Ontario.
