KC sources report that on Saturday about 4 am large forces of the puppets staged a mass hostage taking of the parents of Mujahideen in Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt and Kurchaloi districts of the Nokhchicho province.

During the hostage taking the Kadyrovites staged pogroms in houses, beating up anyone who comes to hand.

Information about the mass hostage-taking of mothers and fathers of the Mujahideen have been confirmed, in particular, by relatives of the Yaraliyev family living in the district center of Vedeno.

It is reported that 60-year-old head of the family Yaraliyev and his wife were taken hostages, along with other parents of the Mujahideen. His younger son went to the mountains in May 2008.

More than a hundred elderly mothers and fathers, sisters of the Mujahideen were brought to the forest. Then, at gunpoint the pupets drove the hostages to the woods, hiding behind them.

According to 12 pm of Saturday, puppets together with the Mujahideen mothers are in the woods and call Mujahideen on the radio, threatening to shoot their mothers, fathers and sisters.

No precise data are available now on the fate of Mujahideen parents. It is reported that more than 100 mothers, fathers, sisters and the Mujahideen have been taken hostages. The number of hostages is probably more, as the raids were conducted in several villages of Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt and Kurchaloi districts.
